Languages is designed to enable all students in
Australia to learn a language in addition to English
Students participate in weekly lessons to learn Spanish. Spanish is a language spoken by over 500 million people in the world. Studying Spanish enables students to learn another language in addition to English.
The aims of the Australian Curriculum: Languages are for students to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding.
Key Learning Outcomes:
- communicate in the target language
- understand language, culture, and learning and their relationship, and thereby develop an intercultural capability in communication
- understand themselves as communicators.
